Born and raised in New York this hunk of burger eating man is 100% Cuban chuck. When asked what beverage best accompanies a burger the usual answer is “Bourbon, neat” unless it’s the daytime in which case the reply would be “Bourbon, milkshake”. He inherited three things from his carnivorous family: his Yankees allegiance, his inappropriately loud laugh when intoxicated, and his love of red meat: “the bloodier the better”. When inquired about his perfect Burger dinner his responses were below.
Pre dinner Cocktail: “Manhattans”
Appetizer: “The warm conversation of good friends catching up over drinks is all I need. Also potato skins or mac and cheese couldn’t hurt.”
Main Course: “Cheddar (sometimes American) cheeseburger, medium rare with fries.”
Dessert: “If there’s room, be a gentleman and let the ladies order.”

This Burger enthusiast left meat behind for 6 whole years before the juicy, melty decadence of the cheeseburger broke the cow’s back one sunny afternoon at NYC’s Silver Spurs Diner and she returned to her carnivorous ways. The Standard: Medium Rare with Swiss. Best Burger? It’s a life long search; I’ll let you know when I’ve tried them all.
